Curt and I started working for the Culver City PD about the same time in the early 90's. He an officer, myself the night Jailer. Even though I left police work 3 years later and moved to Pennsylvania I never forgot my "extended family," my coworkers at the police department. In that "extended family", Curt was a brother to me. We learned together, laughed together, and grew up in the department together. I lost a sister to Cancer 11 years ago and the feeling I had when she left us was the same feeling I had when I heard the news about Curt. But I take comfort in knowing Curt has now met my sister and is learning, laughing, and growing together with her in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with Curt's wife and kids. I will always be thinking of and praying for you. And I look forward to the day I meet my sister and "Brother" in heaven.......Godspeed Curt and God bless!
