I worked with Curt for 17 years and he was truly an outstanding individual, family man and police officer. One of my fondest memories was listening to Curt talking on the phone to one of his kids and trying to explain a homework assignment. You could just hear the love in his voice as he spoke!I had the distinct privilege to be part of the CCPD Honor Guard. Our main goal was to show Curt the kind of professionalism that he always displayed. I can not put into words the feelings I experienced. I take comfort knowing that Curt is in Heaven with God and Jesus and that I will see him again!! He will be deeply missed. Sergeant Rick Nielsen, CCPD #693
